Footballer character jug designed by John Tasker and produced by Small World of Nairn, Highland, Scotland circa 1980 in a limited edition of 5,000. A footballer is a sportsperson who plays football, especially as a profession. Known as soccer in the United States, it has been estimated that there are 250 million football players in the world. A football and team colored scarf form the handle of the jug.
