American Toby Jug Museum 

Farmer's Wife character jug produced by Sterling Pottery of Fenton, England, circa 1950. The Farmer's Wife is the hardworking partner behind the success of every farmer. In addition to tending to the house, fixing meals, managing the finances, and raising the children, she also helps her husband around the farm as needed. A goose's neck and head form the handle of the jug. This is the largest of four known sizes with the smaller sizes standing 3 1/4", 2 1/2" and 1 3/4" tall. This jug was produced from Cooper Clayton molds.
