Farmer's Wife character jug produced by Artone Pottery of Burslem, England, circa 1960. The Farmer's Wife is the hardworking partner behind the success of every farmer. In addition to tending to the house, fixing meals, managing the finances, and raising the children, she also helps her husband around the farm as needed. A goose's neck and head form the handle of the jug. The small size Farmer's Wife character jug stands 2 1/2" tall and the tiny jug stands 1 1/2" tall.
