Elephant with Monkey - Saint-Clement circa 1885

Elephant with Monkey barber majolica toby jug produced by Saint-Clement of France circa 1885. This elephant is wearing a large apron and sitting patiently while a careless monkey is giving him a shave. It looks like the monkey is close to shaving off a portion of his ear. The monkey forms the handle of the jug. This is a rare jug.
