Elephant with Hyena majolica toby jug produced by Saint-Clement of France circa 188. This elephant is wearing a large apron and sitting patiently while an attentive hyena is carefully washing out his ears. Note the detailed handpainted decorations on the front of the elephant. The hyena forms the handle of the jug. This is a very rare jug.
