Dressed Rooster brown majolica toby jug produced by Sarreguemines of Lorraine, France, circa 1910, model number 4653. A dapper Rooster is holding a walking stick in his left hand. A national emblem of France, the rooster decorated French flags during the Revolution. This is one of six characters in the series of dressed animals.
