Draco face pot - Kevin Francis circa 2001

Draco face pot produced by Kevin Francis Ceramics of Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 2001. A dragon is a large magical legendary creature that appears in the folklore of many cultures worldwide. Beliefs about dragons vary considerably through regions, but dragons in western cultures since the High Middle Ages have often been depicted as winged, horned, and capable of breathing fire. Commonalities between dragons' traits are often a hybridization of feline, reptilian, mammal, and avian features. Known for whisking young maidens away to his lair, Draco the dragon is politely asking has "Anyone seen a fair maiden?" of some local villagers.
