Donald Bradman character jug produced by Bendigo Pottery in Epsom, Australia, circa 1975 in a limited edition of 3,000. Sir Donald George Bradman (1908 - 2001), nicknamed "The Don", was an Australian international cricketer, widely acknowledged as the greatest batsman of all time. Bradman's career Test batting average of 99.94 has been cited as the greatest achievement by any sportsman in any major sport. In 2009, he was inducted posthumously as an inaugural member into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame. This jug was designed by John Frith and shows Bradman holding a cricket bat in his left hand, his left arm forming the handle.
