American Toby Jug Museum 

Daniel Lambert Squat Toby medium size jug produced by Copeland Spode circa 1910 model number 5654. The Daniel Lambert jug is named as such by the factory, and is a named Squat Toby jug. A Squat Toby is an Ordinary Toby seated on the ground with his left leg resting on the ground and right leg propped up. This jug is decorated in a beautiful red chintz floral pattern. The Copeland Spode mark was used from 1891 into the 20th century.
