American Toby Jug Museum 

Customs Man toby jug large size produced by Staffordshire Fine Ceramics of Tunstall, England, circa 1975. The customs man is a law enforcement agent who enforces customs laws on behalf of a government. Customs officers work at a country's borders to protect the country from the importation of illegal substances, firearms and dangerous items. They also operate within ports, collecting duties on goods and endeavoring to prevent evasion of duties. A large key forms the handle of the jug.
