Crow ashpot produced by Royal Tettau Porcelain Factory of Bavaria, Germany, circa 1920 using its Royal Bayreuth tradename. A crow is a bird of the genus Corvus, or more broadly a synonym for all of Corvus. Crows are generally black in color. The word "crow" is used as part of the common name of many species. The jug carries the MW Co. backstamp of US importer Mitchell, Woodbury & Co of Boston, Massachusetts.
