Colonial Man character jug produced in a green colorway by Fort Hays State College of Hay, Kansas, circa 1920. This Colonial Man is based on the Ordinary Toby, the original toby jug featuring a common man of the time wearing 18th century clothing and a tricorn hat. His long, braided hair forms the handle of the jug.
