Chipmunk toby jug produced in Taiwan for The Franklin Mint of Exton, Pennsylvania, in a 1987 limited edition. Chipmunks are small rodents of Sciuridae, the squirrel family; specifically, they are ground squirrels (Marmotini). Chipmunks are found in North America, with the exception of the Siberian chipmunk which is found primarily in Asia. Chipmunks have an omnivorous diet primarily consisting of seeds, nuts and other fruits, and buds. They also commonly eat grass, shoots, and many other forms of plant matter. A corn stalk forms the handle of the jug.
