Chinaman toby jug in white colorway produced by Copeland circa 1870, model number 332. Dressed in a full length flowing blue robe, the Chinaman's long braided queue or pony tail forms the handle of the jug. Note the gilding on the hat, shoes and handle. The Chinaman's Copeland mark was used between 1851 to 1885. This jug is very rare. Colorways in red and purple robes are also known.
