Charles and Diana two-sided character jug designed by Spitting Images, modeled by Ray Noble, and produced by Kevin Francis Ceramics of Stoke-on-Trent, England, in a 1992 limited edition of 350. Charles III, born Charles Philip Arthur George (1948- ) is King of the United Kingdom and the 14 other Commonwealth realms. As prince, he was the longest-serving heir apparent and Prince of Wales. At the age of 73, he became the oldest person to accede to the British throne upon the death of his mother, Elizabeth II, in September of 2022. Diana, Princess of Wales, born Diana Frances Spencer (1961-1997), was a member of the British royal family. She was the first wife of King Charles III (then Prince of Wales) and mother of Princes William and Harry. Her activism and glamour made her an international icon and earned her enduring popularity as well as almost unprecedented public scrutiny. Diana's marriage to Charles suffered due to their incompatibility and extramarital affairs. Charles' ears on one side and a pink heart on Diana's side form the handle of the jug.
