Cat majolica toby jug produced by Thomas Forester & Sons of Longton, England, circa 1900. This cat is wearing a large bow around her neck and has a wide brimmed hat hanging on her right side. She is holding a rat, her prized catch of the day. The word RAT is written at the bottom right side of her long dress. Her tail curls up to form the handle of the jug.
