Captain Patch character jug - Artone Pottery circa 1980

Captain Patch character jug produced by Artone Pottery of Burslem, England, circa 1980. Captain Patch is a nefarious pirate who plunders throughout the Caribbean. Early in his pirating career he lost an eye in a heated battle when attacking a Spanish galleon. He wears his eyepatch proudly as a symbol of his ruthlessness. The Captain's long braided pony tail forms the handle of the jug. The small Captain Patch character jug stands 2 1/2" tall and the tiny jug 1 1/2" tall.
