Cabaret Dancer toby jug designed by Albert Ferlay and produced by Vallauris of Vallauris, France, circa 1960. Cabaret is live entertainment consisting of dancing, singing, or comedy acts that are performed in the evening in restaurants or nightclubs. It is comprised of a partnership of a male and a female. Cabaret is often characterized by telling a story or dancing a theme using theater arts demonstrating lifts of a flyer by a base, while integrating types of dance such as ballroom, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, and jazz.
