Bull Monk toby jug produced by Schafer & Vater of Rudolstadt, Germany, circa 1925. A bull is a large, domesticated, cloven-hooved, male herbivore. They are a prominent modern member of the subfamily Bovinae and the most widespread species of the genus Bos. Cattle are commonly raised as livestock for meat, milk, and for hides, which are used to make leather. This bull has dedicated his life to a religious path, adopting the lifestyle and clothing of his order. His tails raises up to form the handle of the jug.
