Bottle and Goblet Toby jug made in the Yorkshire region Staffordshire England circa 1830. This toby jug features a standing Toby holding a bottle of wine or spirits in his left hand and a goblet in his right. Yorkshire tobies have some distinct characteristics that may or may not be present in any specific example. These include a six-sided goblet, white tri-corn hat with scalloped edging, sponged underglaze bright colors around the base, painted dots for eyebrows, and a ship's figurehead handle.
