Bo Peep toby jug produced by Shaw & Sons of Tunstall, England, circa 1960 using its Burlington Ware tradename. Little Bo-Peep is a popular English language nursery rhyme. As with most products of oral tradition, there are many variations to the rhyme. The most common modern version is: Little Bo-Peep has lost her sheep, and doesn't know where to find them; leave them alone, And they'll come home, wagging their tails behind them. Bo Peep's shepherd's crook forms the handle of the jug.
