Bertie face pot produced in a white colorway by Kevin Francis Ceramics of Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 2000. Bertie the bulldog is a British breed of dog of mastiff type. Bulldog's are a medium sized, muscular dog with large heads with a thick folds of skin around the face and shoulders. While often used as a symbol of ferocity and courage, modern bulldogs are generally friendly, amiable dogs. With his face pot quote of "Woof, Woof", Bertie is telling his master that it is time for the evening walk.
