Bass creamer toby jug produced by Royal Tettau Porcelain Factory of Bavaria, Germany, circa 1920 using its Royal Bayreuth tradename. Bass is a generic common name shared by many species of ray-finned fish from the large clade Percomorpha, mainly belonging to the orders Perciformes and Moroniformes, encompassing both freshwater and marine species. Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass are the most popular game fish in North America. This is the smallest of the four known sizes of Bass character jugs with the lemonade pitcher standing 7 1/2" tall, the water pitcher 6 1/4" tall, and the milk pitcher 5" tall.
