Barrister majolica extra large sized toby jug in dark brown jacket produced by George Jones and Sons of Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 1900. The barrister is an English lawyer who serves at higher levels of court typically specializing in advocacy and litigation. He is considered a legal scholar. This is a second version of Jones' Barrister toby jug with the same overall design. This version depicts the Barrister with his hands behind his back and wearing a belt.
