Baby candle snuffer produced by Royal Worcester of Worcester, England, in a 2001 limited edition of 600. This baby is from the puppet show Punch and Judy. Punch and Judy is a traditional puppet show featuring Mr. Punch and his wife Judy. The performance consists of a sequence of short scenes, each depicting an interaction between two characters, most typically the anarchic Mr. Punch and one other character who usually falls victim to the intentional violence of Punch's slapstick. Punch and Judy's baby is often a key part of the story line with Judy asking Punch to take care of their baby, and Punch doing quite a poor job of it.
