American Indian toby jug - Fitz and Floyd 1993

American Indian toby jug produced by Fitz and Floyd of Medford, Oregon, in 1993. The American Indian is a member of the Indigenous peoples of the Americas who were the inhabitants of the Americas before the arrival of the European settlers in the 15th century. Many Indigenous peoples of the Americas were traditionally hunter-gatherers and many, especially in the Amazon basin, still are, but many groups practiced aquaculture and agriculture. A stalk of corn with ripe ears forms the handle of the jug.
